OUR PLAN TO STIMULATE CITIES TO HOLD SOLEMN ASSEMBLIES THROUGHOUT THE NATION

From leading Christian businessmen, civic leaders and pastors whom the National committeemen suggest, we attempt to build a “TEAM of 120” who coordinate & recruit in the following sections of U.S. geography:

  1. 10 U.S. REGIONAL COORDINATORS who cover 10 different regions of the U.S.;
  2. 50 STATE COORDINATORS who each cover one state;
  3. 60 MAJOR CITY COORDINATORS who work with their state coordinator to recruit in one of the major cities and their suburbs.
  4. This “TEAM OF 120” attempts to identify a Chairman and Co-Chairman among Christian businessmen, civic leaders and pastors in many cities and small towns within each state. Then those two Chairmen recruit 10 other men from different churches to be on their local Solemn Assembly Committee. They then select a place, a program and a time for their Solemn Assembly as soon as organizationally possible the next 36 months and see that it is carried through properly.

A BIBLICAL SOLEMN ASSEMBLY

It is our understanding that a biblical kind of Solemn Assembly would have these three ingredients, which we strongly recommend for all local Solemn Assembly Committees to model.

  1. There should be read aloud a statement of the sins of which we are repenting, which list is to be created by the local committee and printed in a local newspaper prior to their Solemn Assembly.
  2. There should be read aloud a “Covenant and Commitment” which states that the people attending are hereby declaring their solemn intent to live in obedience to God’s will stated in the Bible until their death.
  3. There should be read aloud a list of items for Corrective Action to bring our lives up to biblical par and a list of Social Evils which participants commit to eliminating from their local society by prayer, action and voting.
